Blender Fluid Simulation

There are an awful lot of fluid simulations (made with Blender) on YouTube. Most of them seem to be following the standard “glob of liquid into a cup” tutorial but there are also a lot of very inventive ones. A few of mine are on there. And now, thanks to a weekly challenge on Blender Underground’s forums, I’m doing another one.

It’s a fountain, an invisible fountain, spouting water to form the shape of a kind of logo which is quite familiar to Blender’s Undergrounders. I’ve posted a first attempt on YouTube which didn’t quite go how I’d hoped.

I recommend going to YouTube and searching Blender Fluid to see some great stuff. And come along (if you use blender) to Blender Underground too.
